Responsible Gambling

Betting is entertainment, full stop. It's not income, and it's not a fix for a bad day. This page lays out how to keep control, what tools actually work, and who to call when it stops being fun.

Gambling is for adults only (18+)

This is intended for those aged 18 and over. If you feel you are losing control, stop and seek help immediately.

Warning signs, plain and simple

Look out for these in yourself or in people close to you:

  • Staking cash you genuinely can't afford to lose
  • Trying to win back losses instead of walking away
  • Selling stuff or borrowing money just to keep playing
  • Letting work or relationships slide because of it
  • Feeling guilty or on edge whenever you gamble

Tools that actually protect you

Licensed casinos give you self-control tools. Use them, no excuses:

  • Deposit limits: set a hard cap per day, week, or month
  • Loss & session limits: play stops automatically once you hit them
  • Reality checks: a nudge telling you exactly how long you've been at it
  • Self-exclusion: lock your account for however long you decide

Where to get real help

If it's slipping out of hand, help exists and it stays private:

  • Reach out to international groups such as GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous
  • Talk to a mental-health professional, or just someone you trust
  • Hit self-exclusion right away as your first move
